Air Travel

AIRPORT

The nearest airport is San Diego International Airport (SAN). Fallbrook is approximately 1 hour north of SAN.

Below are the approximate driving distances from the airport, however please note that traffic can significantly impact the travel time:

  • Airport to Hotel (Courtyard San Diego Oceanside): ~45 min

  • Airport to Venue (Jeune Perché, Fallbrook): ~1 hour

If you are flying in from out of town, a rental car is recommended as public transit is not readily available.

Although the wedding is in Fallbrook (a quiet town), if you’re traveling to celebrate with us, why not make a mini getaway out of it? San Diego and Oceanside have so much to offer! Here are a few recommendations to help you make the most of your trip.


San Diego

Sunset Cliffs: A must-visit spot. Stunning ocean views, rugged cliffs, and unforgettable sunsets. Perfect for a scenic stroll, sunset picnic, or a romantic photo op.

Gaslamp Quarter: A lively downtown area with great dining and bustling nightlife.

Coronado Island: A charming island escape with beautiful beaches, the iconic Hotel del Coronado, and a quaint downtown full of shops and restaurants. Perfect for a relaxing day trip!

Little Italy: A great neighborhood packed with amazing Italian restaurants and a vibrant atmosphere.

Local Tips

Weather: San Diego and Oceanside have mild weather year-round, so pack light layers and sunscreen.

Transportation: Renting a car is ideal for exploring both cities, but rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are readily available.

Timing: Weekdays are usually less crowded at popular attractions and beaches.
